When you use login features (such as Google Sign-In), we collect your Google email address and the username you choose. This is used to create and manage your account. You are responsible for selecting a username that does not violate the rights of others or reveal sensitive personal information.
User Content (Photos & Videos)
When you generate Photo QR or Video QR codes, you may upload photos or videos to our secure servers. These files are:
- Encrypted before storage
- Accessible only through the generated QR code
- Visible to you inside your account
- Fully deletable by you at any time
We do not access, review, or monitor your uploaded content.
b. Information Collected Automatically
Device Information
We may collect non‑personal device information such as:
- Device model and operating system version
- IP address and unique device identifiers
- Mobile network information
Usage Data
We collect anonymous data about how you interact with the App, including:
- Features used (QR generation, saving, sharing)
- App session duration and crash reports
This information is used only to improve app performance and stability.
c. Information from Third Parties
Google Ads
The App uses Google Ads to display advertisements. Google may collect device identifiers and usage information to serve personalized or non‑personalized ads. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy for more details.
Analytics Providers
We may use third‑party analytics services (e.g., Firebase) that collect anonymous, aggregated information to help us understand user behavior and improve the App.

- Allow you to view, manage, and permanently delete your uploaded media
- Save QR codes to your device using scoped storage (no storage permission required)
- Share QR codes via system share sheet (no file access needed)
- Display advertisements
- Improve performance and user experience
- Detect fraud or misuse
3. Permissions We Request (and Why)
The App requests only the following permissions, all explained at runtime:

The App does NOT request any storage permissions (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).
- On Android 10+ (API 29+), QR codes are saved using MediaStore with a specific folder (
Pictures/QRCodeGenerator). No permission is required. - On Android 9 and below, QR codes are saved to the app‑private external directory and made visible in the gallery via a media scan. Again, no storage permission is needed.
- Sharing uses FileProvider to share a temporary image from the app’s cache – no file access outside the app occurs.
We do not access your contacts, location, or other personal files on your device.
4. Encrypted Media Storage & User Control
Photos and videos uploaded for QR generation are:
- Encrypted before storage
- Linked only to the generated QR code
- Accessible within your account
- Not readable by the developer
You have full control over your uploaded content. You may:
- View your uploaded photos and videos
- Manage previously generated QR media
- Permanently delete media from the server at any time
Once deleted, the media is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only:
- With service providers (e.g., Google Ads, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements
- If required by law or to protect our legal rights
- To prevent misuse of the App
6. Data Retention
Uploaded Photos & Videos
Stored in encrypted form until you delete them. You may permanently delete media at any time from within the App.
Account Information
Retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time, and we will remove your personal data.
Usage & Analytics Data
Stored in anonymous, aggregated format for performance analysis.
7. Coin System & In‑App Ads
The App may include a coin‑based feature system where you earn coins or watch ads to unlock certain features. No financial payment is required unless explicitly stated.
Ad providers may use device‑level data to serve relevant advertisements as described in their policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

- Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
- Generate malicious QR codes

We are not liable for misuse of the App or unauthorized sharing of QR codes by users.
11. Security Measures
We use industry‑standard encryption and security practices to protect data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes.
